Miss Liberty

Dit is mijn 2e post voor vandaag. Hieronder staat mijn 1e DT kaart voor het nieuwe Cheerful Sketches Challenge Blog.

De challenge bij Melonheadz Friends is deze keer Embossen. Sinds ik in New York geweest ben, ben ik helemaal weg van het Vrijheidsbeeld. Toen ik bij Nikki van Melonheadz ging kijken welke afbeelding ik wilde gaan gebruiken voor deze challenge, zag ik dat zij net deze Miss Liberty als freebie op het blog had gezet. Toen was mijn beslissing snel gemaakt. Ik heb gekozen voor de voorgekleurde versie en mijn mijn kleurencombi krijg je toch een beetje een idee van de Amerikaanse vlag, toch?

Ik zou het leuk vinden als je met deze emboss challenge meedoet. Je hoeft niet persé een Melonheadz afbeelding te gebruiken, maar als je dat wél doet, mag je zo vaak mee doen als je wilt én hoef je je ook niet aan het emboss thema te houden. Je kunt een bundel naar keuze winnen!.

The challenge at Melonheadz Friends is Emboss It! Since I have been in New York, I so adore the Statue of Liberty. When I visited Nikki at Melonheadz to look for an image to work with for this challenge, I saw she had just posted this Miss Liberty freebie. I immediately knew I had to use her. I have choosen to work with the precoloured version and with my choice of colours, there is a little bit the feeling of the American flag, isn't it?

I should love it when you join this emboss it challenge. You don't need to use a Melonheadz image, but if you do, you may enter as many times you like and then the theme will be anything goes. The prize is a bundle for choice.
