I followed the sketch set by Judy at the Sugar Bowl Challenge #38 . The theme is scallops and one has to use a Sugar Nellie stamp. I used a Gorjuss Girl: Little Gothic Girl. I think the cool little girl just matches the sweet DP which is the Flower Patch Paper Pad of Making Memories. I cut out with nestabilities Labels Four both the image and DP. The doily circle was inked with Cat's Eyes. Flowers are Bazix Flowers and the buttons on top are from my stash. I coloured Little Gothic Girl's hair following Cabio's tutorial at YNSChallenges and I must say that after spoiling some images, I'm now rather satisfied. Thanks Cabio!!! Challenge #20 is to make something with lace or ribbons or both. You can see my lace upon the cardstock strip which I cut with a MS punch. Ribbon is used for making bows through the buttons on the flowers. Papers are from Imaginisce. I chalked the circles with Cat's Eyes Cocoa and the cute image with Cat's Eyes Robin's Egg. This card is made for patriotic day in the USA. It happens to be the colours of the Dutch national flag. Like this detail! DP is for many years in my stash and is Cloud9Design. The white cardstock is cut with a Martha Stewart punch. The outside of the card is distressed with a Tim Holtz distresser. The stamp is Whiff of Joy's little drummer boy (designed by Norma Fickel)....I just received it this week. Pearls, pins and ribbon are from my stash. Today we have a new challenge over at Prairie Fairy and the theme chosen by our Fairy Queen Roberta is ANYTHING GOES, my image which can be bought here , is called Gillian at the Beach. Isn't this the most adorable image? I have used one of my nestabilities to cut and chalked with Cat's Eyes Ochre and Topaz to distress it a little. The little seashells which I've used for embellishments were picked from the beach when I was in Zandvoort last weekend. The DP used is the Sweet Summertime line from Echo Park Paper Company. This week Fairy Fun Friday Challenge is Summer Vacation! I thought this digi should be perfect for the theme. It is called Summer Fun and is of course for sale at Prairie Fairy . DP used is American Crafts, ribbon is from my stash, flipflops are a Quickutz die, sunglasses were on a lemonade straw and I brought the shelf from my weekend on the beach in Belgium. Zomervakantie, dat is deze week de challenge bij Fairy Fun Friday . Ik vond deze digi perfect bij het thema passen. Hij heet Summer Fun en is uiteraard bij Prairie Fairy te koop. Het papier is van American Crafts, het lint is uit eigen voorraad, de flipflops zijn van een Quickutz die, de zonnebril zat aan een limonaderietje en de schelp heb ik meegebracht toen we laatst een weekendje aan de Belgische kust waren.
