Kerst in juli / Christmas in July

Deze week worden we bij de Divas by Design gesponsord door Pink Gem Designs. Het thema is Kerst in juli en daarom heb ik deze leuke digi van hen gebruikt; hij heet Robin with Mistletoe.

Het papier is een oude lijn van Bo Bunny en ik heb alle randen gedistressed en gescheurd. Robin is gekleurd met Copics, op zijn muts en sjaal zit flowersoft. De boom is een Tim Holtz stans. De sneeuw is gemaakt met liquid appliqué. Op de boom heb ik wat glinstersterretjes gedaan, omdat ik hem een beetje saai vond. De plastic sneeuwster maakt de kaart af.

Ik hoop dat mijn kaartje jullie inspiratie geeft om met onze Divas by Design challenge mee te doen. Kerstkaartjes kun je niet genoeg in voorraad hebben, toch?

This week the Divas by Design are sponsored by Pink Gem Designs. As the theme for this week is Christmas in July I have used their lovely Robin with Mistletoe.

Papers are Bo Bunny and I distressed and torned all edges. Robin is coloured with Copics and I have put some flowersoft on his hat and scarf. The tree is a Tim Holtz die. Snow is made with liquid appliqué. I have put some glittery stars on the tree, because it looked somewhat dull. The plastic snowstar is the finishing touch.

I hope I gave you some inspiration for entering our Divas by Design challenge. 

One can never have enough Christmas cards in stock, I think.

Ik mag deze week trots op mezelf zijn: bij Anything goes haalde ik de Top 5 en bij Teddy Bo werd ik gekozen als Runner Up!

It's a good week for me: at Anything goes I reached the Top 5 and at Teddy Bo I became a Runner Up...I'm proud on myself!
