voor mijn moeder / for my mother

Afgelopen weekend hebben we in Brugge vertoefd. Het was echt genieten....prachtig weer...goed hotel...mooie stad...in de grachten gevaren...met een koetsje rondrit door de stad gemaakt...veel terrasjes bezocht...én we zijn naar het fritesmuseum en ook naar het chocolademuseum geweest. Bij het laatste kregen we een demonstratie chocolade maken en na afloop hebben we een grote zak met pure chocolaatjes gekocht. Ik heb er een paar in een zakje gedaan en daar een mooi doosje omheen gemaakt. Mijn moeder krijgt dit voor moederdag, samen met een mooie plant. Het papier is van K&Company en is dubbelzijdig (handig voor doosjes die opengaan, want dan is de binnenkant ook mooi). Het gele kant is van Bunny Zoe, de vlinder is gemaakt met een Nellie Snellen pons en heeft wat parels van de Perlen Pen en roze Stickles, 3 hartvormige glittersteentjes rechtsonder. De 'swirl' is een Marianne Design stans, evenals de blaadjes en de bovenste bloem (waarin ik een 'echte' parel heb gedaan). De onderste bloem is uit eigen voorraad.

We spent our last weekend in Brugge, Belgium. We really enjoyed it....wonderful weather...perfect hotel....beautiful town....with a boat through the canals....sightseeing the town with a horsecoach...visited many outdoor café's....ànd we visited the French fries museum and also the chocolate museum. Here was a demonstration of making chocolate and we bought a big bag of plain chocolates. I put some in a small bag and made a box for it. This is for my mom's mother's day, together with a beautiful plant. Paper is K&Company and is doublesided (very suitable for boxes when they are open, so the inside is nice too). The yellow ribbon is Bunny Zoe, butterfly is Nellie Snellen and some pearls with the Perlen Pen and pink Stickles around it, 3 heartshaped glitter stones at the right side. The 'swirl' is Marianne Design, as are the leaves and the upper flower (in which I put a 'real' pearl). The flower underneath is from my stash.
