Katie For A Cure is a very special set Beth designed to honor her cousin Kate, who earlier this year, at age 33, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her story is sadly not unique, but Beth felt she had to do something. On the StampInsanity blog you can read the whole story! Ik ben zeer vereerd dat ik 2 weken gastdesigner mag zijn voor Karen's Doodles Nederlands Uitdagingen Blog . De opdracht deze week is WIT en dat houdt in dat ALLES wit moet zijn, behalve de stempel. Deze keer is het een gedeelde uitdaging, hetgeen betekent dat alle Karen's Doodles Challenge Blogs dezelfde uitdaging hebben. De uitdaging is verzonnen door Sandy Hulsart van het Amerikaanse blog. De stempel die ik heb gekozen is Bigsby Wreath en is natuurlijk te koop bij Karen's Doodles . Ik heb 4 dies van Nestabilities Labels Eight gebruikt om uit te stansen en heb ze geëmbossed met verschillende Cuttlebug folders. Bigsby is ingekleurd met mijn copics. For this blue Tilda I used Sunday's Sketch & Stamp sketch #33. Papers are a combi of K&Company and Marianne Design, I paperpieced Tilda's dress, crystal Stickles for her wings and cotton candy Stickles for the flowers in her hair, nestabilities Labels Four, rub-ons, flowers and buttons from own stash. Great news: Baby Dillan has got a sister and her name is Baby Emily.....isn't she adorable? She is for sale (of course) at Prairie Fairy ! I used Color Core cardstock and DP is a combi of BoBunny and SU (a paperpad which I won once in a candy at Prairie Fairy ). Buttons are Flutter stickers from Making Memories. I cut the digi with my circle cutter and distressed with Cat's Eyes Velvet. Beneath is a doily paper, also distressed. The bow is made of lace. Too bad it seems red on the photo, but in real it's really vivid fuchsia! The safety pin is tied with pink scrappersfloss from Karen Foster. Text is rub-ons. This is my 3rd GDT card for StampInsanity. The theme this time is a sketch, which I turned a quarter. I used American Crafts paper, the image is cut with the oval nestability and the underlying die is from Quickutz and I punched it with MS' doily lace punch. The sweet image is the set Beach Babes - Summer 2010 and is for sale at StampInsanity . The butterfly and button are from my stash and the bow is a kind of netting. It’s Sunday Challenge over at OSAAT : come and join in with us again this week and show us your creations!!!!!! Here is my card for your inspiration this week. I've used Stitchy's "digi "Silk on Glass" which is available from the Stitchy Bear Stamps store. This week's theme is Digi Madness and that means that there must be a digi somewhere on your project. Just take a look at the Stitchy Bear Stamps store....there are plenty! DP is May Bouquet from Pebbles (doublesided), die cut is Dahlia from nestabilities Spellbinders, the ribbon and pins are a birthday present from a crafting friend. I think the ribbon matches this paper so nicely! The sketch is imitated from someone's blog, but I forgot whose....so anyway, thank you! This is my second GDT card for StampInsanity. The theme for this week is Radical Ribbon & Rockin' Rhinestones (= use ribbon and sparkle on your project). My K&Company papers are sparkling all over, but it can hardly been seen on the photo (so you have to believe me!). The roundings on the ribbon are also a little bit sparkling. The 3 blue pearls are from Recollections. The sweet image is called SummerLovin' Maddie and is for sale at StampInsanity . I cut her out and coloured her with my copic ciao's 0/C1/C5/C7/100/E11/E21/G21/G94/G99 and did some details with Candy Cane Stickles. Dit is mijn 2e GDT kaart voor StampInsanity . Once Mrs A . gave a sneak peek of a book and the fabric she wanted to use and finally last Saturday the postman came with this parcel: When she was choosing what to make as my little prezzie the book fell open at the page showing this bag and it is called "Dutch Cat". She immediately thought how apropriate it was. It is made from Japanese kimono silks. Isn't this amazing and adorable. It's so delicately made.....so precious. I made this 'chocolate' Tilda for the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog . Sketch is from House of Sketches . DP is the bittersweet paper pad from Basic Grey. The lace around the circle is from my own stash, as are the flowers. I put some dew drops on and stitched everything with the sewing machine. I used the sketch of Moving Along With the Times . DP is Basic Grey (from years ago), I used the Cuttlebug folder Swirls on ColorCore Cardstock and sanded it (so it looks a bit like waves).
