Pirate (of the Caribbean)

Dit lieve piraatje is een nieuwe stempel van Nellie Snellen. Het is een serie van 4 en heet Young Rebels. Het papier is Graphic45 en is heel toepasselijk voor deze serie. Het bootje heb ik zelf getekend, bovenin wat eyelets gedaan een een touw erdoorheen geregen. Onderaan wat schelpjes geplakt. Het zeil is een stuk verband waar ik een doodskop op getekend heb. De mast is een satéprikker en de dwarslatjes zijn cocktailprikkers. Het stuur is uitgeponst met Shapeability Snowflake Wonder van Spellbinders. Het piraatje is met copics gekleurd. De stempel en het papier komen bij 't Bezige Bijtje vandaan.

This sweet little pirate is a new stamp by Nellie Snellen. It is a series of 4 and is called Young Rebels. Paper is Graphic45 and very appropriate. The small boat is handdrawn by me, I put some eyelets in with a piece of rope. At the bottom I sticked some shelves. The sail is made of bandage on which I drew a skull. I used some skewer to make the mast. The wheel is a Shapeability Snowflake Wonder by Spellbinders. I coloured with copics. The stamp and paper can be bought at 't Bezige Bijtje.

Tickled Pink Stamps GD call

Tickled Pink Stamps is op zoek naar nieuwe gastdesigners. Om mee te dingen, moet je onderstaande schets én een Tickled Pink stempel gebruiken. Ik heb de keuze laten vallen op Fashionette Lil Lolita. Lolita, die natuurlijk met mijn copics gekleurd is, is uitgestanst met Spellbinders Label Four. Alle randjes zijn met Cat's Eyes beïnkt. Het papier is van Pebbles. De gele rand rechts is gemaakt met een nieuwe Spellbinders Shapeability en heet Floral Doily Accent. Behalve deze rand zitten er nog diverse andere mooie mallen in deze set. Hij komt bij 't Bezige Bijtje vandaan. De tag is een eigen ontwerp en de stempel is van een ticket set van Stampology. De bladeren zijn een Magnolia Doohickey stans. Ik heb ze eerst met TH distress inkt bewerkt (pine needles en mustard seed) en daarna glitter paint van Tattered Angels erover gedaan (dirty martini en luscious lavender). Helaas is het glanzende effect niet goed op de foto te zien. De witte bloemen heb ik ook wat gedistressed om ze wat zachter van kleur te maken. Erbovenop een stukje grijs/blauwe tule en daarbovenop Wild Orchid Craft roosjes met wat stickels bewerkt. Ik heb er nog 2 mooie pins in gestoken, die ik van Linda heb gekregen. Het parellint hoort eigenlijk op de 2 lintjes in de tag en dit lint (met nog veel meer gave spulletjes) heb ik van mijn blogvriendin Terry gekregen.

Tickled Pink Stamps is having a guestdesign call. You must use this sketch in order to enter the call ánd you must use one of their stamps. I have chosen Fashionette Lil Lolita, who is coloured with my copics and cut out with Nesties Lables Four. All is distressed with Cat's Eyes. Papers are Pebbles. The yellow border is a new Shapeability: Floral Doily Accent. I made the tag myself. Sentiment on it is from a Stampology ticket set. Leaves are a Magnolia Doohickey die. I covered them with TH distress ink (pine needles and mustard seed), and afterwards I put some Tattered Angels' glitter paint on them. Unfortunately it shows not well on the pic. The white flowers are also distressed a bit to soften the colour. On top a piece of grey/blue tule and on top of that a Wild Orchid Craft rose with stickles on it. I also used 2 pins, which I got from Linda. The pearls belong to the ribbon in the tag.

last GDT card for Christmas Card Challenge Blog

Je houdt het niet voor mogelijk, maar het is nu Pasen, snikheet en ik plaats een kerstkaart!!! Papier is van SEI en de stempel van Hero Arts, gekleurd met mijn copics. Bovenop de bloem zit een vilten sneeuwster met daarop een piepklein sneeuwsterretje dat uit glitterpapier is geponst. Het lint is uit eigen voorraad en op de strik is ook weer een sneeuwster geplakt. Onderstaande schets is deze week de uitdaging van het Christmas Card Challenge Blog. Dit is tevens mijn laatste kaart als gastdesigner.

Yes, this is possible: it is Easter now, bloody hot, and I am posting a Christmascard!!!! Papers are SEI, stamp is Hero Arts and is coloured with my copics. On top of the white flower a red felt snowstar with a tiny snowstar punched out of glimmery papers. Ribbon is from my stash. On the bow there is also a snowstar. The sketch below is this week's Christmas Card Challenge Blog challenge. And this is also my last card being their guestdesigner, which has been a pleasure to be.

Fairy Fun Friday Challenge 519 - April Showers bring May flowers - DT card

Ik heb een gloednieuwe stempel gebruikt van onze geweldige Roberta, eigenares van Prairie Fairy. Het is mijn favoriete Gillian en zij staat lekker onder haar parapluutje in de regen met die schattige eendjes te spelen. Het papier is van American Crafts, de tekst is van een ticket set van Stampology en het lint is uit eigen voorraad.

I used a brandnew image from our gorgeous Roberta, owner of Prairie Fairy. It's my favorite Gillian and she is standing under her umbrella, playing in the rain with the cute chickies. Papers are American Crafts, the sentiment is from a Stampology ticket set and the ribbon in from my stash.

Deze week is Deb gastvrouw van deze leuke twee-wekelijkse challenge, die ons zonneschijn en warm weer brengt en dat maakt me zooooo blij!!

Ik hoop dat je door deze gedachte geïnspireerd wordt en ik ben dan ook benieuwd naar je creatie. Het thema deze keer is:

Tulp / Tulip

Het patroon van deze tulp kaart heb ik gekregen van Margreet (ja, geen grapje). Ik vond het een leuk patroon om er een voorjaarskaart mee te maken. Ik heb er Magnolia papier voor gebruikt. Aan de voorkant zit Tilda met tulpen en zij is gekleurd met Copics. Ik heb de tulpkaart laten sluiten met een strik van rood geruit lint, waarbovenop een dubbele witte strik met een roosje en een bedeltje. De onderkant van de bloemen is een nieuwe SpellbindersShapeability die met erop een (door mijn moeder) wit gehaakte bloem en daarbovenop een roosje. Verder nog wat meeldraden om het speels te houden.

I got this tulip pattern from Margreet (yes, this is no joke). I thought this a nice pattern to create a spring card. I used Magnolia papers. At the front Tilda with tulips and coloured with Copics. I closed the card with a gingham ribbon bow and I put a double bow with a rose and a charm on it. The red flowers are a new Spellbinders Shapeability die, with a white (by my mother) crocheted flower and a red rose on top. Furthermore some samen to get a playful effect.

Op de linker binnenkant een grotere Shapeability die gebruikt, waar ik een wit met rood gestippeld koord doorheen geregen heb. Een dubbele vlinder erop (Nellie Snellen Floral punch) en wat rode parel plaksteentjes van Kars. En om in stijl te blijven natuurlijk nog een Tilda met een bos tulpen

At the left inside I used a larger Shapeability die and I threaded a white with red dotted string through it. A double butterfly (Nellie Snellen Floral punch) and some red pearl adhesive stones from Kars. Accordingly another Tilda with a bunch of tulips.

Aan de rechter binnenkant heb ik een Magnolia Doohickey label bevestigd met als details onderaan rood lint, bovenaan een rode vlinder en een rood-wit-blauw lint. Onder de bloem heb ik wat veertjes geplakt en 2 mooie, zelfgemaakte pins die ik van Linda gekregen heb. Bovenop een knoop uit eigen voorraad.

At the right inside I put a Magnolia Doohickey label with details as a red ribbon, a red butterfly and a red-white-blue ribbon. Underneath the flower I put some feathers and 2 beautiful, homemade pins which I got from Linda. On top a button from my stash.

3rd GDT card for Christmas Card Challenge Blog

 Dit is alweer mijn 3e GDT kaart voor het Christmas Card Challenge Blog. De challenge voor deze week luidt: OPEN (Alles wat je leuk vindt). Een makkelijke opdracht, dus iedereen kan meedoen. Ik heb papier gebruikt van Basic Grey (Eskimo's Kisses). De stempel is van JustRite (gekregen van mijn scrapvriendinnetje Erika, van wie ik ook dit leuke model heb) en is ingekleurd met Copics. De rand heb ik 2x gekleurd en de 2e laag opgehoogd met foamblokjes. Wat glitters erbij voor een sneeuweffect. De dubbele strik heb ik met de BowEasy gemaakt en er is met een touwtje een tag aan gehangen. De bloemen zijn gemaakt met Marianne Designs Creatables.

This is my 3rd GDT card for the Christmas Card Challenge Blog. The challenge this week is OPEN (= Whatever you like). Simple, so everybody can join in. Papers are Basic Grey's Eskimo's Kisses. The stamp is JustRite and coloured with Copics. The edge is coloured 2 times and the 2nd edge is layered with foam. Some gems to get a snowy effect. The double bow is made with the BowEasy and I tied a tag with a piece of rope. Flowers are Marianne Designs Creatables.

Zo ziet de kaart er opengevouwen uit. De tekststempel is van Hampton Art (een leuk boekje met mini flip flops clear stamps, gekregen van Jannie, waarvoor nogmaals mijn hartelijke dank).

Kaartje voor een jarige vriend gemaakt. De hond is een Whimsy stempel en is uitgestanst met Nestabilities Labels Eight en het andere papier met Grand Nestabilities Labels One op de Grand Calibur. Verder een Creatables van Marianne Design gebruikt en er een groen lint doorgeregen. Als finishing touch 3 grote houten knopen met een touwtje erop vastgeknoopt.

Paas Swap kaart / Easter Swap card

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt omdat ik meedoe bij het Nederlandse Swappersblog. De opdracht was om volgens een schets een kaart te maken voor een andere swapper. In mijn geval moest ik een kaart maken voor Claudia en zij maakt er eentje voor mij. Zij heeft hem inmiddels ontvangen en dus mag ik mijn kaartje op mijn blog zetten. Ik heb een digi gebruikt van mijn favoriete Gillian en zij is hier te koop. Ik heb haar met copics gekleurd en een gele parel als oorbel gegeven. Het papier is van de serie Stella and Rose van My Mind's Eye. Joop heeft bij 't Bezige Bijtje deze hele lijn voor me gekocht voor mijn verjaardag, dus voorlopig zul je er nog genoeg kaarten mee te zien krijgen. De gouden bloemenbrad komt er ook vandaan. De groene brad erin is uit eigen voorraad. De mooie cirkel met paastekst heb ik van mijn blogvriendin Brenda gekregen. Ze heeft er nog meer gemaakt, dus als je er eentje wilt, kun je hier gaan kijken. De wit/gele bloemen zijn van Bazix en ik heb er wat meeldraden in gedaan. Het wollige kant komt bij Bunny Zoe's vandaan. Links nog wat kristallen gedaan (is niet volgens de schets, maar ik vond die kant anders zo kaal).

I made this card because I joined the Nederlandse Swappersblog. The challenge was to make a swap card following a sketch. I used the digi Cute Chicks with my favorite Gillian and she is for sale here. I coloured her with my copics and gave her a yellow pearl for earring. Papers are again My Mind's Eye's Stella & Rose. My hubby bought all Stella & Rose papers in 12'x12' for my birthday, so in the future you will be seeing more of it. The golden flowerbrad is for sale at 't Bezige Bijtje. The green brad in it is from my stash.

The nice circle with Easter sentiment is made by my lovely blogfriend Brenda. She made some more, just take a look if you want to have one. The white/yellow flowers are Bazix and I put some stamen in them. The yellow lace is Bunny Zoe's. At the left side I put some crystals (not accordingly the sketch, but I found that somewhat nicer).

 Hier een close-up van de bloementoef. Onderop bladeren van Magnolia's Doohickey. Van gelig jute of gaas een strik gemaakt en daarin wat veertjes en meeldraden gestoken. Er bovenop roosjes van Wild Orchid Crafts en nog 2 andere bloemen.

Tilda met haasje / Tilda with bunny

Van mijn blogmaatje Terry kreeg ik voor mijn verjaardag een prachtig pakket met o.a. een heleboel afdrukjes van Tilda, waaronder dit schatje. Ik heb dus nog maar een paaskaart gemaakt en weer met het mooie Stella & Rose papier van My Mind's Eye. De bloemen zijn van Bazix met dew drops erop. Tilda natuurlijk gekleurd met mijn copics en de randjes met Tattered Rose van Tim Holtz gedistressed. De bloem links is een Shapeability Floral Doily Motifs. Verder nog de Nestabilities Mega Ovals LG en de Mega Classic Scalloped Ovals LG gebruikt. Het kantje en de pins zijn uit voorraad.

Flowers are Bazix with dew drops on it. Tilda is of course coloured with my copics and I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz' Tattered Rose. The flower at the left  is a Shapeability Floral Doily Motifs. I also used the Nestabilities Mega Ovals LG and the Mega Classic Scalloped Ovals LG. The lace and pins are from my stash.

Tilda als paashaas / Tilda as Easter bunny

 Wat vind ik Bunny Tilda toch een schatje. Ik heb het mooie papier Stella & Rose van My Mind's Eye gebruikt. Verder een geel gestippeld lint en met de BowEasy een mooie strik gemaakt. De 3 knopen zijn van een vest dat ik als klein kind gedragen heb (en dat is dus al heel lang geleden...lol).

I find Bunny Tilda such a sweetie. I used the nice papers Stella & Rose from My Mind's Eye. A yellow ribbon with white dots and a bow made with the BowEasy. The 3 buttons are from a sweater I used to wear when I was a little girl (and that's a long time ago...lol).

 Het lieve paashaasje rechtsonder heb ik van mijn Zwitserse vriendin gekregen.

GDT card for Christmas Card Challenge Blog

Dit is mijn 2e kaartje als Gastdesigner bij het Christmas Card Challenge Blog. De uitdaging voor deze week is STRIKKEN. Het mooie papier is van Bo Bunny. De tag is een Doohickey van Magnolia, rozen zijn Wild Orchid Craft met wat parel meeldraden. Daaronder mijn nieuwe stans van Marianne Design. Tilda is gekleurd met copics en daarna uitgeknipt. Zij zit in een bloemcirkel, gemaakt met een Quickutz die. De strik heb ik met de BowEasy gemaakt. In de hoeken heb ik Shapeabilities Floral Daily Accent (S5-040) gebruikt (te koop bij 't Bezige Bijtje).

GDT kaart Een Hoop Inspiratie Blog

 Ik had de 2e prijs gewonnen met de rozenwedstrijd op Een Hoop Inspiratie Blog en daarom mag ik bij de volgende challenge Gastdesigner zijn. De opdracht is dat er 1 of meerdere kikkers gebruikt moeten worden. Ik had voor mijn verjaardag heel veel papier van mijn dochter gekregen, waaronder een heel leuk blok waar dit papier in zat. Het komt bij het Kruidvat vandaan met bijpassende plaksteentjes, lintjes, roosjes en andere bloemen. Ik heb 3 nestabilities Blossom op elkaar geplakt. De kikker is met copics gekleurd en de ogen zijn wiebeloogjes. De bloemen zijn Marianne Design Creatables met als hart een soort muizentrapje en plaksteentjes Ik hoop dat jullie wat inspiratie hebben gekregen en gezellig met deze challenge mee gaan doen!

Fairy Fun Friday Challenge - Kinderliedje / Inspired by a nursery rhyme - DT card

"Op een grote paddenstoel, rood met witte stippen".......Fairy Fun Fridays nieuwe challenge is: Geïnspireerd door een Kinderliedje......en zoals je ziet heb ik gekozen voor dit lieve ventje van Prairie Fairy, zittend op zijn paddenstoel. Hij heet My Little Friend en is hier te koop. Ik heb Nestabilities Labels Eight gebruikt om de digi uit te ponsen. Het papier is van Echo Park en voor het gras heb ik de Icicle pons van Martha Stewart gebruikt en bewerkt met de Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Als je meedoet, vragen we wel of je de naam van het gebruikte kinderliedje bij je creatie wilt zetten. Er zijn weer prijzen te winnen en ga voor inspiratie maar eens kijken wat de andere fairies voor moois gemaakt hebben.

Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme.....the new challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays. We are requesting that you name the Nursery Rhyme that you are basing your creation on. I have used a Dutch song, called "On a big mushroom, red with white dots" and I used Prairie Fairy's digi for it, which I cut out with Nestabilities Labels Eight and being called My Little Friend (for sale here). Papers are Echo Park's and the grass is made with Martha Stewart's Icicle punch and treated with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. If you need some inspiration I will advise you to take a look at the challenge blog to see what the other fairies have created.
