Just Magnolia meets many challenges

This is my first card since I'm back from Switzerland. It cost me a few days to resettle but I'm in the crafting mood again!

For this card I used the sketch from Just Magnolia......the DP is K&Company's and meets the challenge at Colour Create......use pastel lilac, pastel yellow and pastel mint......the Alphabet Challenge Blog asks R for Roses and I used some from Wild Orchid Crafts.....the leaves underneath are from my stash......Delightful Sketches wants Cute and Girly with pearls and lace......Crafty Cardmakers wants glitter & sparkle.......I wanted to use lilac lace but that was not in my stash, so I coloured it with Cats' Eyes ruby satin.....the glittery sparkles on her skirt are Stickles crystal........I put some mintcoloured pearls on the lace and on the image......Stamp Insanity wants us to use lace and stitching.....at the same time Pixie Dust Studio also wants to see stitching..... Christmas Stampin All Year Long wants this time a non-Christmas card and for Stampin' for the Weekend Anything Goes.

Candy-time at Bev's

Candy-time at Bev's.
In it is a Letraset's set of Promarkers, two Lili of the Valley stamps, a pad of Memory Box Spearmint papers and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

OSAAT #28 Girlie Theme or Photo Inspiration

Do you like these funny coloured bubbles??? Well, it's this week's theme at OSAAT. Or you may use a Girlie Theme......or both ....whatever you like!
I tried to use both themes for my small easel card, which I made with my nestabilities Mega Ovals and Mega Classic Scalopped Ovals. The cute image is called Hinata Sorry and is designed by Mizumedia and you can buy her at SB&IDICCB. DP is Making Memories' Flower Patch. The sentiment is Hero Arts (I preferred Be Happy instead of Sorry). The flower is the medium and small retro flowerpunch with a dew drop on top. The brads on the sentiment our from my own stash.

Vind je deze grappig gekleurde bubbels leuk??? Nou, het is deze week het thema bij OSAAT. Of je mag een meisjesachtig thema gebruiken.....of allebei......wat je zelf wil!
I heb geprobeerd beide thema's te gebruiken voor deze kleine easelkaart, die ik gemaakt heb met mijn nestabilities Mega Ovals en Mega Classic Scalopped Ovals. De leuke afbeelding heet Hinata Sorry en is ontworpen door Mizumedia en je kunt haar kopen bij SB&IDICCB. Het papier is de Flower Patch van Making Memories. De tekststempel is van Hero Arts (ik gaf de voorkeur aan Be Happy i.p.v. Sorry). De bloem is gemaakt met de medium en kleine retropons en heeft een dew drop bovenop. De brads op de tekststempel zijn uit eigen voorraad.

This is my DT card for Challenge #34 Pearls and Lace:

Gillian is one of my favo's from Roberta, the talented designer of Prairie Fairy. While colouring I have a constant smile on my face.....just try it out for yourself....you can buy Pretty Gillian here.
The challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays #34 is to use Pearls and Lace. I used 2 different kinds of lace and even made a bow from lace. At the corners I put some pearls and with my white Perlen-Pen I made some pearls on the image (necklace, earrings and heart of the flower on her hat).

Gillian is één van mijn favorietjes van Roberta, de getalenteerde designer van Prairie Fairy. Terwijl ik aan het kleuren was, zat ik constant met een grijns op mijn gezicht.....probeer het zelf maar eens uit.....je kunt Pretty Gillian hier kopen.
De uitdaging bij Fairy Fun Fridays #34 is om Parels en Kant te gebruiken. Ik heb 2 verschillende soorten kant gebruikt en er zelfs een strik mee gemaakt. Op de hoeken heb ik wat parels geplakt en met mijn witte Perlen-Pen heb ik wat parels op de stempel aangebracht (ketting, oorbellen en het hart van de bloem op de hoed).

I have to tell and show you some things

As you probably know we are in Switzerland for a few days. This weekend we were in the neighbourhood of Sankt Moritz where we enjoyed a jazzfestival. Here we are standing at the glacier. Since Monday we are staying in Davos at our friends. A few pics:

Fairy Fun Fridays #33 - Punch It!! - DT card!

Okay, it's Friday which means it's time for another fantastic Fairy Fun Friday Challenge, the theme this week is Punch It!, so come on over and join us. I've used the adorable Mistletoe Kisses image this week from Prairie Fairy Designs, isn't this the most adorable image you've ever seen? You can buy her here.

You don't have to use a Prairie Fairy image, but if you can we would love to see them. The prizes that Roberta (our lovely Queen) has for our winners are amazing. 4 pointsettias

4 cards with different DP and the same sketch and pointsettia:

The challenge at ABC Christmas is this sketch and Q = Quick and Easy. As this card was pretty simple to create I decided to make 4 of them and I'll give them as a present to my friend in Switzerland who loves pointsettias.

DP is Basic Grey's Wassail Paper Pad. The pointsettias are made with Marianne Design Creatables and I used two coulours of dew drops.

DT card OSAAT 26 - Pack a Punch meets Secret Crafter and many others

It is Sunday again.....time for a new challenge at One Stitch at a Time (OSAAT). The theme this time is to use punches.

For this card I used the image Kokeshi doll group designed by Sylvie Stamps and available here. DP is the Basic Grey's Blush Paper Pad. The large Prima flowers were white from origin and I made the matching colours by painting them with copic W5, on top pink roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and a pink flower brad from my own stash. I inked all papers with Cat's Eyes Velvet. I completely forgot the punch theme and punched two Quickutz photocorners. The dress of the doll in the middle has been paperpieced. On the right doll's dress I used my white Perlen-Pen to make pearls as heart of the flowers (unfortunaly not good to be seen on the pic).

Het is weer zondag..........dus tijd voor een nieuwe challenge bij One Stitch at a Time (OSAAT). Deze keer is het thema om ponsen te gebruiken.

Voor dit kaartje heb ik de digi Kokeshi doll group gebruikt. Ontworpen door Sylvie Stamps en hier verkrijgbaar.

Het papier is de Blush Paper Pad van Basic Grey. De grote Prima bloemen waren oorspronkelijk wit van kleur en ik heb ze een bijpassende kleur gegevens met de copic W5. Er bovenop roze roosjes van Wild Orchid Crafts en een roze bloemenbrad uit eigen voorraad. Alles is beïnkt met Cat's Eyes Velvet. Ik was zo met m'n kaart bezig dat ik het thema helemaal vergeten was en daarom heb ik nog maar 2 fotohoeken van Quickutz uitgestanst. De jurk van de middelste pop heb ik gepaperpieced. Bij de jurk van de rechtse pop heb ik in de bloemenharten met de witte Perlen-Pen pareltjes gemaakt (helaas niet echt goed te zien op de foto). As usual a pic of the used copics:

Fairy Fun Fridays #32 - photo inspiration - DT card!

This week's Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge is this photo inspiration. I think it always a hard job, so this is what I finally came up with.

Deze week is de challenge bij Fairy Fun Fridays deze foto inspiratie. Ik vind dit altijd best moeilijk, maar uiteindelijk is het deze kaart geworden.

I used the sweet Lazy Boxy Bear image, which you can buy at Prairie Fairy. His boxer and towel are paperpieced and the rest is coloured in with my copics (sorry, no photo this time). The flowers are a combination of handmade (Papershaper's Retro Flower) and some bought ones. I punched the handmade ones with my Fiskars lace punch (they are a perfect match with the flowers on the DP). Lazy Boxy Bear has been punched with nestabilities Large Deckled Rectangles, all papers are inked with Cat's Eyes Cocoa, this time I tried to make some large 'pearls' with my Perlen-Pen, zigzag ribbon and yellow crystals are from my stash.

Ik heb de leuke digi Lazy Boxy Bear gebruikt en je kunt hem hier kopen. Zijn broek en handdoek heb ik gepaperpieced en de rest is met mijn copics gekleurd (sorry, deze keer geen foto). De bloemen zijn gedeeltelijk handgemaakt (Retro Flower van Papershaper) en wat gekocht spul. De handgemaakte heb ik bewerkt met een Fiskars pons (ik vind hem precies passen bij de bloemetjes op het papier). Lazy Boxy Bear heb ik uitgestanst met nestabilities Large Deckled Rectangles, al het papier is beïnkt met Cat's Eyes Cocoa. Ik heb geprobeerd wat grote 'parels' met de Perlen-Pen te maken, het zigzag lint en de gele kristallen zijn uit eigen voorraad.

Fairy Fun Fridays #31 - Circle framed image - DT card!

Friday is Fairy Fun Fridays time. This week we want to see your circle framed image. I used the cute Hippo Norm designed by the fabulous queen of Prairie Fairy, Roberta. Hippo Norm has a lovely sister named Helen and you can buy them as a set here. Norm is cut out with a Nellie Snellen Multiframe and underneath I put a circle with my circle cutter. On top I used my Perlen-Pen bronze to make some pearls. I bought this yesterday and it's fun to work with. DP used is doublesided Jillibean-soup and I inked all with Cat's Eyes Sky Blue. The flowers are made with the Success flower punch middle and the buttons and ribbon are from my stash.

Vrijdag is Fairy Fun Fridays tijd. Deze week willen je stempel op een cirkel frame zien. Ik heb die leuke Hippo Norm gebruikt, die door onze geweldige koningin van Prairie Fairy, Roberta, getekend is. Hippo Norm heeft ook nog een lief zusje, Helen genaamd, en je kunt hen als stelletje hier kopen. Ik heb Norm uitgestanst met een Nellie Snellen Multiframe en eronder zit een cirkel die ik met mijn cirkelsnijder uitgesneden heb. Erbovenop heb ik parels gemaakt met de bronzen Perlen-Pen, die ik gisteren gekocht heb. Is écht leuk om mee te werken. Het dubbelzijdige papier is van Jillibean-soup en ik heb alles beïnkt met Cat's Eyes Sky Blue. De bloemen heb ik gemaakt met de middelgrote Success bloemenpunch en de knoopjes en het lint zijn uit eigen voorraad.

Create4Fun - Stamp and Create

Ik heb dit kaartje op verzoek van mijn moeder gemaakt. Het geinige plaatje is nl. het visitekaartje van haar kapster, die binnenkort jarig is. Ik heb de schets van Create4Fun gebruikt. Cardstock is Core Color, DP is Echo Park Paper, de bloemen en brads zijn uit eigen voorraad, de tekst is een rub-on, en het kleine schaartje is uit het vroegere speelgoedwinkeltje van mijn dochter.

My mother asked me if I could make a card with this business card from her hairdresser, who's birthday is coming. I used Create4Fun's sketch. Cardstock is Core Color, DP is Echo Park Paper, flowers and brads are from my own stock, sentiment is a rub-on and the tiny pair of scissors is from my daughter's former toyshop.

GD card Karen's Doodles - sketch 6 meets a.o. 2 Sisters

Dit is mijn 2e en tevens laatste GD kaart voor Karen's Doodles. Deze week is de opdracht bovenstaande schets. Ik heb er onderstaand kaartje mee gemaakt. Ik heb Color Core Cardstock gebruikt, daarop een geparfumeerde rozenkaart, designpapier is van Fiskars (dubbelzijdig), een strook rozenpapier heb ik met de doily lace pons van Martha Stewart aan 2 kanten geponst, het kanten taartkleedje heb ik beïnkt met Sky Blue van Cat's Eyes, de stempel Here comes The Bride is van Karen's Doodles en is uitgestanst met nestabilities Blossom. Linksboven 3 dew drops, rechtsboven een blauwe roos en 2 witte zijden roosjes. Zij is hier te koop. De bloemen rechtsonder heb ik gemaakt van 2 kleuren lint, erop een zijden roos en eronder wat veertjes. De tekststempel (Always Forever, door de blauwe inkt niet zo goed te zien misschien), is van de stempelset van Stampology.

This is my 2nd and also last GD card for Karen's Doodles. The theme this week is the above sketch. I made this card with the sketch. I used Color Core Cardstock, layered it with sented roses paper, DP is doublesided Fiskar's, I cut a piece of the roses paper on both sides with MS doily lace punch, the doily paper circle is inked with Sky Blue Cat's Eyes. The digi is Karen's Doodles' Here Comes the Bride and cut with nestabilities Blossom. Of couse she is for sale here. On the top left 3 dew drops, at the right a blue rose and 2 whte silk roses. The flowers at the bottom are made of 2 kinds of ribbon, with a solk rose on top and some feathers underneath. The sentiment is hard to see on the pic because it is in blue but it says Always Forever and is part of a Stampology set.

En zoals meestal hier mijn bosje gebruikte copics. Voor haar ketting en oorbellen heb ik de witte Atyou Spica pen gebruikt. Haar schoenen en zijn overhemdboord heb ik met de witte Gelly Roll van Sakura gedaan.

And as usual my bunch of used copics. For her necklace and earrings I used the white Atyou Spica pen. Her shoes and his shirtcollar are coloured with the white Gelly Roll from Sakura.

2 Sisters Challenge meets 7 other challenges

This is my second post for today.
Dit is mijn 2e kaartje voor vandaag. DP is Making Memories, felt flowers made with Marianne Designs' + Martha Stewart punches, the red roses on top are from my stash, white flakes are also from Marianne Design Creatables, the sweet sheep image and sentiments are Penny Black stamps, I used some Tulip Puffy white for snowflakes on the image and coloured with my copics.
