Margreet's scrapcards

I made this card for the birthday of my daughter's MIL-to-be, who does a newspaper route every day. I think this Tilda fits just perfectly. I cut her out with nestabilities eight as I also did with the pink cardstock beneath it. Papers are old and out of my stash, so I don't remember the name of it. I bought the lace a while ago when we were on the market in Rotterdam. The striped pink and brown ribbon is from a candy which I won at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts with leaves from McGill punch. Dew drops are won at Simon Says and the pink gems are bought at Zeeman, a cheap Dutch store. Here's a close-up of that sweet girl: I coloured the "lace" on her clothing with a pink Sakura pen, put some embossing powder on it and heated it with my heatingtool. This is my DT card for this week's challenge at OSAAT which is Anything Goes. I used this cute image from Stitchy Stamps. She is called Playtime and is for sale here . I coloured her with my copics and a little bit with a clear Spica Pen, used my circle cutter and inked with Cat's Eyes dune. I also inked all papers which are Basic Grey's Cappella. The green lace is coordinating BG's ribbon doilies. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are punched with the McGill punch leaves. I also used a Cuttlebug folder. This card is made for 'Kaarten maken met Tiets' (a Dutch internet crafters club). Paula from Pollycraft has designed this fab image especially for Tiets' club and it will be for sale later on. A new challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays ........we ask you to use any rick rack on your project....it may be ribbon.....it may be handcut papers......as long as there is some rick rack on it. I made this card following Sketch Saturday #120. I used 'old' papers from WeRMemory keepers, which I distressed both with my Tim Holtz distresser and with Cats' Eyes Amber Satin. It's Friday, so it's time again for a new challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays . This time we want to see Embossing, Wet or Dry. Fairy Fun Fridays has gone to a two weekly challenge. So you can enter till 24-9. This is my DT card. I used the beautiful image called Polar Pals and its for sale here . For the embossing I used 2 different Cuttlebug folders......the image is coloured with both copics and chalks.....the coat is paperpieced.....the fur parts and wings are treated with Stickles Crystal....nestabilities to cut the image and the underlaying paper....the snowflake is also a nestability die and the gingham ribbon, snowflake brad and red pearls are from my stash.
